In this episode, I’m sharing something that genuinely changed the way I see people — the core conditions by psychologist Carl Rogers.
I came across this concept while trying to understand something I struggled with for a long time: how do you stay true to yourself, your values, and your beliefs while still being open-minded and accepting of people who see the world differently?
The core conditions (empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard) helped me understand that you can understand someone without needing to agree with them, and respect someone without losing yourself.
In this episode, we talk about:
✨ What empathy actually means (and why it’s different from sympathy)
✨ Being authentic without oversharing
✨ Accepting people without judging their worth
✨ How different values and beliefs can coexist
✨ Real-life examples in friendships and work
✨ Practical ways to apply the core conditions in everyday life

If this episode resonated with you, take some time to reflect:
✨ Where do I notice myself judging others most quickly? What might that judgment be protecting or showing me about myself?
✨ What beliefs or values do I hold that I feel shame in having around others?
✨ When someone thinks differently from me, do I become curious or defensive? What usually triggers that reaction?
✨ How can I practice moving from judgment to curiosity in my everyday conversations?
